Join this workshop to further your dance education and do a deep dive into the focus on steps, rhythms and choreography inspired by the original dancers and performers of the Jazz era.

Schedule & Levels

Each level will have 2 classes of 75 minutes with a short break in between and 30 additional minutes at the end for a Q&A session where you’ll have the possibility to discuss questions with Felix, watch original video footage and learn more about the history of what you’ve just worked on.

  • Intermediate: Experience Jazz – at least 1 year
You enjoy dancing Jazz and already have taken several classes or workshops. You know some of the basic routines like the Shim Sham, Mama’s Stew, The Jitterbug Stroll, etc and (start to) feel comfortable dancing on your own.

  • Advanced: Experience Jazz 2-3 years +
You have been dancing Jazz for several years now and feel comfortable playing around with steps, jamming with other dancers and maybe even creating small routines yourself. You’re familiar with routines like the Tranky Doo, Norma’s Trickeration, The Big Apple, etc. Working on tricky variations doesn’t discourage you but gets you excited.
